From Survival to Connection

An 8-Week Nature-Based Mindfulness Journey

A unique curated solution

Many people today live in a kind of survival state. Life feels flat, gray, and repetitive — as if every day just blends into the next. You scroll, react, and move through the motions, but deep down, something feels off. You might not even have words for it, but it's like being stuck.

Maybe you've started noticing that you lose your temper easily, that joy and calm feel far away, or that you can't remember the last time you truly felt alive. There's this quiet question whispering in the background:
"Is this all there is?"

That's where I come in.

I offer people a possibility to move out of that survival state — out of the gray — through a nature-based eight-week mindfulness program. It combines my professional training, my lived experience, and my passion for the outdoors, and for helping people reconnect with themselves and the natural world.

What to Expect

To keep this manageable, we alternate with a online and offline sessions. At every offline session we combine indoor practice with outdoor time. You'll experience forest bathing and the calming, evidence-based benefits of nature, and get introduced to mindfulness in practise through Forest Mind exercises.I hope that this practice inspires you to take nature on as a companion that reminds you of who you are beneath the stress.

As the weeks unfold, we explore:

  • What stress really is — how it feels, what causes it, and how we sometimes make it worse

  • How to reconnect with your body through movement and mindful awareness

  • How to build your "meditation muscle" — starting small, growing steady

  • How to bring mindfulness into daily life, even when you can't be in nature

Every other session, we return to the forest for nature-infused practices that help you remember: peace and presence are always available — even in a busy day, even in your own breath.

The Result

By the end of the program, you may find that you:

  • Feel more grounded and connected

  • Treat yourself with more kindness

  • Experience moments of calm and contentment

  • Sense that nature is not something outside of you — it's something you belong to

By following this program, I aim to take you along to a rhythm that you can continue following from the 9th week onwards in your own way.

“Katrina’s calm guidance through a series of exercises helped me connect deeply with the forest and my own nervous system. I felt at home in the forest, and appreciated the various suggestions to listen with my feet, my breath, and other senses that often stay in the background when I normally walking through the forest. This type of medicine is my favorite: preventative, restorative, reflective. I come away a little softer than I was before.

Katriina provided a thorough (online) presentation on Forest Therapy for our company to better understand the subject. The presentation seamlessly blended science and psychology principles to support the movement behind forest bathing. Katriina was lovely to work with; accommodating and had very insightful well thought out presentation prepared for us. Hope to learn more from her in the future.
