VEER: A 7-Week Journey into Nature Connectedness

In a world that feels increasingly frantic, nature offers more than just a fleeting escape: it provides a path back to ourselves.

This program is rooted in established theories on the restorative effects of nature, as well as a growing body of scientific research linking nature connectedness to improved well-being, quality of life, and psychological resilience.

Natural Resilience through Nature Connectedness

Resilience refers to the ability to adapt to adversity, stress, loss, or significant change, and to continue developing despite these experiences. It is not simply about “bouncing back” to a previous state, but about learning, growing, and finding new meaning in what we experience.

Resilience is also central to ecotherapy—a form of therapy that utilizes contact with the natural environment to promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Ecotherapy is based on the premise that humans share a fundamental bond with nature, and that this connection can aid in recovery, stress regulation, and personal growth.

This is the core philosophy of VEER, where resilience is viewed as the capacity to move with change, recover from disruption, and find new balance—much like natural ecosystems do.

The 7-Week VEER Program

This program helps you integrate nature connectedness into your daily life. Across every season and every type of weather, nature offers a balance of movement and stillness if you take a moment to notice her—both near and far. Integrating nature restores a fundamental sense of meaning and deep connection.

Throughout this program, you will explore a beautiful paradox: by slowing down and noticing the complex nature right around you, your world becomes more intimate, yet your identity expands as you embrace your role as true citizens of the Earth. This grounded perspective naturally dampens the “noise” of the modern world, allowing you to act from a place of connection.

Program Structure

The program spans seven weeks and combines weekly group sessions of two and a half hours with individual home exercises, both focused on conscious nature connection and resilience. The group sessions, consisting of 6 to 10 participants, are led by a VEER facilitator.

  • Kick-off: The program begins with an initial group session where you will be informed about the process and structure of the journey.
  • Weekly Practice: At the end of each gathering, you will receive an envelope containing innovative individual nature exercises. These invite you to practice in your own environment between sessions.
  • Integration Phase: There is a two-week break between the sixth and seventh sessions. During this interval, you are encouraged to continue the exercises independently and discover new ways to explore your personal connection to nature.
  • Long-term Support: After the 7 weeks, you can opt to attend follow-up sessions twice a year. This provides ongoing support and inspiration, helping you consciously nourish and deepen your contact with nature while continuing to inspire one another.
